Week Three Lent MeditationsLent
Thank you for joining our community of devotion during Lent. Send your special intentions to the National Shrine of St. Jude to be strengthened in devotion to St. Jude during this holy season.
We are traveling companions on this Lenten pilgrimage, encouraging and sustaining each other. During this second week of Lent, use our St. Jude Lenten Meditations as small reminders of the path we walk together toward Easter.
Below you will find the daily meditations for the third week of Lent. We look forward to praying with and for you during these holy days. May God bless you throughout these 40 days. We are praying for you.
Day 19 — March 27th
Let’s take a moment this third Sunday of Lent to reflect with contrition and resolve:
In today’s Gospel, the Samaritan woman met Jesus at the well, believed in him, and brought others to the faith. Share the powerful devotion to St. Jude with someone who needs a message of hope today.
Day 20 — March 28th
We take a moment this 20th day of Lent to reflect with contrition and resolve:
We are now at the midpoint on our Lenten journey. Take a moment to reflect on the things that God has impressed most on your heart thus far.
Day 21 — March 29th
We take a moment this 21st day of Lent to reflect with contrition and resolve:
Lent is God’s gift to us, to help us grow closer to Him. May we continue to ready ourselves for His most profound gift to us in the Resurrection.
Day 22 — March 30th
We take a moment this 22nd day of Lent to reflect with contrition and resolve:
Encourage others in your life who may not know the blessing of hope. Let them know God loves them, that they no longer need to be alone, and that you will pray for them.
Day 23 — March 31st
We take a moment this 23rd day of Lent to reflect with contrition and resolve:
When trouble comes, turn to the strength you know is found in St. Jude and rest in the knowledge that God never leaves or forsakes you.
Day 24 — April 1st
We take a moment this 24th day of Lent to reflect with contrition and resolve:
Remember that the things of this world will pass. Let go of worldly desires and focus your attention on Christ.
Day 25 — April 2nd
We take a moment this 25th day of Lent to reflect with contrition and resolve:
We have finished three weeks of Lent. Take the measure of your Lenten journey. We renew our commitment to prayer, fasting, and helping those in need.
