Solemn Novena to St. Jude

Today we center ourselves in peace as we begin nine days of Solemn Novena prayer. St. Jude listens to our prayers and offers us hope when we become weary.

Intention to St. Jude: St. Jude, through your prayers, obtain for me the grace of the Holy Spirit that it may enlighten me to realize more often how near God is to me even in my troubles. May God’s Spirit guide me to know the best way to proceed in any troubling situation that confronts me.

Intercede for me so that I may know God’s comfort in my life and that I may love God until someday I am singing God’s praises with you and all the saints in heaven.

Intention to St. Jude: St. Jude, you have held out your hand to so many who have sought your help. Please take hold of my hand and see me through times of trouble. Give me the strength to hope against hope and the courage to greet each new day. On this final day of our Novena together, renew my faith in God’s healing touch and help me put my trust entirely in Him during the days and hours that lie ahead.
