Prayer to St. Jude for Students

Back to School

National Shrine of St. JudeSt. Jude, stay with me. Though the journey of learning is long and often difficult, your quiet presence gives me courage. Sustain my trust in myself, my teachers, and fellow students. Help me to let go of my fears and believe in the growth that is happening, even though I may not see it right away. As I embark again on this mission of study, I ask for the grace to be wise in mind and word, compassionate at heart, and full of energy and zeal as I seek to learn the ways of God’s world and come to understand how my gifts may serve their best purpose. Amen.

Post your prayer or petition below for those heading back to school. Or if you would like, send your special intentions to the altar of St. Jude at the National Shrine of St. Jude where they will be prayed for by the Claretians.

Dear St. Jude, I am asking for help for my daughter. She will be taking a very important exam soon and is very nervous. I know she can do well if she can only calm down and keep faith in her abilities. I pray that you can shed her fears and concentrate on her task. Thank you St Jude. I know you are listening.

Dear St. Jude, I pray for all the previous intentions requested on this site. I humbly ask for your intercession for my mother in law for a safe and happy transition to her new home. Also, for my daughters that they always have a heart for Our Lord and may find a path in life that is pleasing to Our Lord.
