Pray the Novena, August 18th – 26th.
Solemn Novena to St. Jude
Healing is one of the most prominent events in Jesus’ public ministry. With the other Apostles, St. Jude accompanied Jesus in His travels. He saw the challenges of people afflicted physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually—and witnessed Jesus perform His miracles through faith. Some of the people had great needs for healing; others came in support of friends and loved ones.
St. Jude saw Jesus heal many people with His sacred hands. And all those He touched experienced healing. For those who suffered, the healing presence of Christ was a promise of hope—a promise that St. Jude holds through prayer to all in need even today.
On August 18th we will begin the Solemn Novena to St. Jude with a special emphasis on healing. We invite you to sign-up to receive free Novena email devotions, with prayers & reflections for each day, sent one day prior to the start of the Novena.
Jesus commissioned the Apostles, including our patron, St. Jude, to bring the hope of healing to the world. This Novena is a special time for us to ask St. Jude to intercede for us and carry our prayers to God for those we know are in need of healing of any kind.
During these nine days of powerful prayer, we encourage you to join with other members of the St. Jude League and pray for those in need of healing.

Thank you, St. Jude for interceding on behalf o my son. He was accepted into the university program for which I’d prayed. Although some doors close, others open. Thank you for your continued intercession for my son as he continues in his journey that he will walk forward in faith and confidence into the future God has prepared for him leaving the evil that has come into his life behind. Father, I praise you. St. Jude, I thank you for your intercession.
Please also keep my son here safe and keep all torment and sadness from his soul. Please keep his mind clear and provide him with direction. Please help him see all you have to give and receive your love. Please help erase the torment from his heart and sou and show him all the goodness in lifel. Amen
Please heal my sons heart and assist him in getting back with his girlfriend. He is truly repentant for his mistake. Please let her feel the love he has for her and give her the power to forgive him. Please I ask of you for this favor. Amen
Being a single mom for over20years, 2 jobs, 3 kids, St jude have always worked with me in many times of difficulties. Due to time factor I have St Jude’s CD in my car I pray along with as I drive. Oh such a wonderful saint. Please continue to look after my health and that of all mothers who call on you.
THANK YOU SAINT JUDE, you never fail me. My oldest sone now sleeps thru the night – goes down peaceful, sleeps peacefully and wakes up happy

Thank you St. Jude for your intercession and I thank you for hearing my prayers and interceding for a healing of my son’s marriage. I pray that you continue to intercede on behalf of my son. Blessed St. Jude, I will be always mindful of this great favor you have helped me with, and I will always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and I gratefully encourage devotion to you.
St. Jude I thank you gratefully for your continued support. I come pleading for your intervention with our son’s crisis that never ceases. Please help him to have positive resolve so that he may be God’s servant and father to his son. Please heal his wounds caused by torment. I also please to you that the doctors find the blockage in our friends cancer stricken body. May they receive holy intervention with his care and help him to heal. He is a wonderful friend who always gives! Comfort him and his wife and son each day over this bumpy road.

Dear Saint Jude,
Please help both my sons, my husband and I, sleep peacefully and soundly through the nights so we may have energy to have peaceful and meaningful days. In the name of Jesus I pray.
Blessed St. Jude, We call upon you for your help and guidance this week. Please help jake pass his state board testing Sept. 21st and help Alex with his court dates. St. Jude please pray for us. I will praise God with you always.
Dearest St. Jude, I pray that you will intercede on my 24 year old son’s behalf and hear my prayers. The long term effects of his childhood cancer are ever present in his painful suffering, both physical and emotional. He was one of the first to survive his type of cancer and we are SO grateful for that, but he was left with so much to deal with. Heal him from his various, chronic afflictions and from his social anxiety. Help him to find good medical care and please alleviate his pain and suffering. Help him to gain weight and to regain full mobility. Help him to find the help he needs to cope with his pain and suffering. Return to him a zest for life, good friends and an acceptance by others. Thank you for his university degree, now please guide him to find a fulfilling and good job, good and reliable friendships, and a renewed interest in exploring nature again. Please help him to accept himself and bless him with good friends, a positive attitude and a Zest for life. Please bless all survivors of childhood cancer, and provide doctor’s with appropriate medical training and the knowledge so necessary, not just to save children’s lives, but to care for childhood cancer survivors throughout their lives. Amen.
May God heal my son Chris who has had lifelong mental health issues. He has had so much unhappiness in his 22 years. Please bring him peace and take away the fear and anxiety that plagues him. He is trying to finish his Associates degree – please help him in this endeavor. And may he find the sense of self that will allow him to have loving and stable relationships .
May the most Sacred Heart of Jesus be praised, adored and glorified with love throughout the world. Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on Us. St Theresa, the child of Jesus, pray for Us. St. Jude Come to our need now in my troubles, grant me health peace of mind and happiness in the home.
St Jude please, this day I come to ask for you intercession for help with my financial condition and others who may have the same problemsand don’t know where to go in order to get the well needed help. Please show me a sign that my prayer are being heard and there is hope to one day get the needed assistance. Help me to find a job with better working hours,better pay / working conditions, shorter commute time, respect, and better cooperation from my co-workers. Right now my take home pay is less than my monthly bills. I would liketohave extra in order to assist others who are less foutunate than I. I pray to continue having a personal relationship with Jesus. Thank you in advance
Dear St. Jude, I ask not for me but for my girlfreind, who has suffered a stroke.just when everything in her life was coming together. A person whose capacity to love everyone around her has no bounds. Please , through your intercession, ask our Lord for his special healing powers, so that she may return to the life she loves so much..being a mom and a grandmom. Thank you St Jude for favors granted, I shall alway be indevotion to you for whatever God deems to be the answer to my prayer.

ST. JUDE THADDEUS, relative of Jesus and Mary, glorious Apostle and Martyr, renowned for thy virtues and miracles, faithful and prompt intercessor for all who honor thee and trust in thee, powerful patron and helper in grievous affliction, I come to thee and entreat thee with all my heart to come to my aid, for thou hast received from God the privilege of assisting with manifest help those who almost despair! Look down upon me: my life is a life of crosses, my days are full of tribulation, and my paths are strewn with thorns—and scarcely one moment passes but is witness of my tears and sighs. My soul is enveloped in darkness, disquietude, discouragement, mistrust—yes, sometimes even a kind of despair preys upon me. Divine Providence seems lost to my sight, and faith seems to falter in my heart. Overwhelmed by these thoughts, I see myself surrounded by a dark cloud. Thou canst not forsake me in this sad plight! Dear St Jude, please come to my aid. Please intercede for me, please help me in the hour of my need. I am begging, praying, crying and pleading for your help. Please speak to God for me, please ask him to hear my prayers and help me out of this crisis.
Dear Holy Father, I am back praying for Your help in this difficult time. Please hear my prayers and cries for help. I need You always, I need You now to help me through this crisis. I am depressed and devasted over this problem. I am nervous, anxious, afraid and scared that I am going to lose everything. I don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, please help me to see the light. Please help me to get my strength and courage back. Please help me, I am begging You. I need You always in my life, do not leave me alone and abandoned. I am not doing good, not eating or sleeping much. I am a burden to my family that I love very much, more than anything. I’ve prayed, cried, begged You for help. I’ve asked in the name of Jesus, my Lord and Savior. I’ve asked the Blessed Mother to intercede. I’ve prayed to St Joseph, St Anthony, St Jude, Padre Pio, St Ann, St Lucy, St Rita and St Theresa for help, guidance, protection and an end to this problem. don’t let me stay like this any longer
St Jude, please come to my help. I need our intercession. I need you to speak to God for me, I am begging in the name of Jesus for help. I need the doors to open for me, I need good news. Again I am praying, begging and crying for your help.
Please hear me St Jude, please let me know that this latest news is not true. I heard from a friend that F may have now turned to another woman (who is a mutual friend). After I put myself out there for so long, worked so hard and remained so patient while F worked through his troubled mind. Please let me know that this is all a big misunderstanding. Please help F to continue to clear his mind of all his troubles. Just when I thought we made a breakthrough with being able to communicate again, to hear this news was the biggest most painful stab in my heart, and I don’t want to believe it. I would love to believe that F is still the same amazing person he always has been. I need to know that they’re still nothing more than friends and the news my friend warned me about was just a misunderstanding. Please help me to heal too St Jude, I have worked so hard to ensure F is always ok and put his happiness before mine for so long. I am weary and just want things be ok for us all. Please let me know this is a misunderstanding and continue to give F and I good communication with one another and help him to always remember how much I care.
St Jude, please help me to keep going, sometimes I can no longer bear but walk with me during the difficult times of my life…please intercede in all my intentions…amen

St Jude, I come to you again to ask your intercession. I ask your prayers for Gene and the others on this blog. Please pray for all of us and help us during these difficult times. Please show me a sign that my prayers are being heard; I sometimes am afraid and know I shouldn’t be afraid. Ask Jesus to continue to carry my cross and to show me a way to employment and a means to meet my financial obligations. I pray to you in the name of Jesus, Amen.
