November 1st – Day of Prayer for Cancer

Day of Prayer for Cancer

October 4th<br /> – Day of Prayer for CancerThroughout Wednesday’s liturgies at the National Shrine of St. Jude, we will pray in a special way for all those who suffer from cancer. We invite you to join us November 1st, and on the first Wednesday of every month, as we call upon St. Jude for the healing of cancer. Please send your special intentions for healing and remembrance of those affected by cancer to the Shrine or join our prayer circle of healing by posting your prayer to our Day of Prayer for Cancer wall below.

We pray together: St. Jude, you are the bearer of abiding hope. I place myself in your care as I bear the cross of cancer. I trust that you intercede constantly for me, giving me courage when I am afraid, strength when I grow weary, hope for my most difficult challenges. Most faithful patron, may you remind me always of the love and healing God offers to each of His children. Amen.

St.Jude, you are the bearer of good news, of hopeless and lost cases, please intercede and pray for the health and healing of my husband Juan’s prostate cancer, that his PSA level miraculously lowers soon, for the continued health and healing of my granddaughter Loren’s remission from leukemia, and for all the children from GOLDEN HEART PROJECT. These children all suffer from various types of cancer, including my granddaughter Loren. Thank you.

Please help all of those who we love to continue their recovery from Cancer. We think especially of Holly, Ger, Patrick, Pam and Leo. Can you wrap Peter up in your love as he enters the final stage of his battle and get ready to welcome him into the next life.
